According to this article, it may be several years before the trials are complete and the drug — if it proves useful for P and P-arthritis — is released.  (It is already used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.)  It is another in the family of “biologic” drugs that use naturally-grown proteins to inhibit very specific actions of the immune system.
