Arava
has Subdued PA Dear Ed:
I’m new to your site. I’ve
suffered psoriatic arthritis for 25 of my 54 years.
First of all, thank you for your web site and your empathetic
approach to disseminate solace to us all. I will attempt
to make future positive contributions to your efforts to ease the pain we
all suffer. Mainly, I just
wanted to let you know that a drug called, “Arava”
is working wonders for my arthritis and psoriasis.
It’s easy to take and requires little maintenance.
I’ve been on it for almost a year and the results are dramatic. I hope a fellow
sufferer might benefit from this information.
All the best, -Lee W. ***** Ed’s
Response: Thanks for this Lee.
I went to WebMD.com
and saw Arava listed right along with Enbrel and Remicade.
The latter two are becoming household words in the P community
because they appear to clear skin P as well as subdue PA. I imagine in
your 25 years living with PA you’ve tried a lot of things.
It’s good to know research seems to be exploding with new
potential treatments for P and PA. I’m trying
to become a controlled optimist — meaning I believe good things are in
the offing, but the “offing” may be a ways off, yet.
It’s likely though, isn’t it Lee, that young people are less
likely to face 25 years like you endured?
I find that notion very exciting. Let us hear from you again soon, Lee. -Ed www.flakehq.com |
